In our tests shot into water, this bullet expanded to .861 at 1030 FPS. Our load was 8.9 grains of autocomp in 44 magnum brass and fired from a 7.5 inch 629.
44Spl Go To
9gr of TrueBlue from a 3" S&W 696 gives me 980fps and accuracy I found hard to believe. At 25yds I shot all 5 rounds into a nice little 2.5" group, dead center of mass standing, unsupported. This is an excellent 44Spl bullet. This gun especially rarely shows any leading and was the same with this bullet. Service and shipping and also packaging from Matts is first rate. These arent the only bullets from Matts Ive bought either and all of them are excellent products and thats why I continue to shop here.
