This bullet was designed by Keith for the 45 ACP and auto rim to be a hunting and defense bullet,. Hence the short nose. Cast from Lyman mold number 452423. Length of nose to crimp groove is 0.337.
Preacher
I have used this bullet in a Smith & Wesson mod. 25-5 six inch and find it very accurate. I do not know its effect on large animals, but it works well with hog-sized creatures.

Accurate and Clean shooting
I ordered these cast in 20- alloy. Heavier Keith bullets shot too high out of my Smith and Wesson 25-13 with 4 inch barrel. These slightly lighter Keith bullets shoot point of aim at around 950 fps, with no leading and very good groups. The meplat is slightly larger than the 270-SAA bullet. This is a great bullet for my Smith.
