This bullet was designed by Ray Thompson and first appeared in Lyman catalogs in the early 1950s. This bullet is cast from Lyman mold #429244. It is a very good all around 44 bullet and possibly the most popular 44 gas check bullet for the past 60 years. This is an excellent choice for hunting as well. Nose to crimp length is 0,400.
