This bullet is 1.242 inches long and .400 from the crimp groove to the nose. It was designed to function in a lever action.
500 GR. Flat nose GC
Shooting out of a 26” barrel Marlin Cowboy Lever action I duplicated the old Army load at 1300 FPS. These bullets using H4198 gave a 10 shot SD OF 7. At 50 yards using peep sight from the bench it constantly shot clover leafs for 3 shot groups. I will be buying more.
