Bullets dont stabilize
These were really fun to load, but in my Henry Big Boy 18" barrel, these bullets dont seem to stabilize very well at all. Unless theres another load recipe I dont know about, I wont be buying these particular ones again. At 30 yards, they're already tumbling. From my personal experience, the 500gr and 405gr projectile performs better. Great Quality, but just doesnt work well in my rifle.

Thumper in a 458 socom
I run these in a 16” 1:14” twist 458 socom as a heavy thumper load. I’ve run them up to 1300fps but like to run them in the 1100-1200fps range to keep my brass from getting beat up. Stable and accurate out to 100yds which is as about as far as I’ll shoot these. Drop is similar to a 22lr but hits like a hammer and makes quick work of hogs.
