This is the massive 700 grain bullet designed for the 500 S&W. A cylinder full of these equals a half pound of lead! Be sure to crimp them well. Some customers report excessive recoil out of the four inch guns. Others don't have a problem.
T REX Killers
I bought 100 of these a few years back. Had kind of forgotten about them until a friend and I were talking about the .500 Mag. Decided to bring some of my handloads along with these very projectiles. He had a refrigerator in the back yard, to which he told me to shoot it. So I did. Out of my 4” 500, these are doing 990 fps, over 25 grs of H110, which is about a grain below maximum. These things are going slow, but plow through anything they impact upon. They are absolutely no joke. That fridge never had a chance. I even shot the accumulator tank on the bottom for the refrigerant, it didn’t puncture it, but it made one hell of a dent. Those accumulator bulbs are thick and tough, so it’s no wonder the bullet didn’t penetrate. What it did do was go through the rest of the fridge at an angle, then hit a 3” tree on the backside, sailed through that, then was cocked sideways. It proceeded to hit another tree nearly the same size, taking bark and tree fibers with it, while leaving a near perfect profile imprint in the tree. The bullet imprint was perfectly shaped, as if the projectile never deformed during its freight train push through everything it contacted. These are the heaviest bullet you’ll ever come across for a revolver. And they barely fit in the cylinder. The 700 gr gas checked bullets are a stout load, so make sure your crimps are very deep curls, or you’ll lock your cylinder up tight from bullet jumping forward of the case. I don’t even load my cylinder full, for fear of doubling it during firing. Highly recommended if you want to laugh hysterically at your own creation. A solid 5 stars from me:

beast of a bullet
Great bullets, will shoot through six inches of salt treated wood, as though it were not there!
